'Self Pay' Pricing Structure

Initial, "new" visit

£200, 20 minute appointment. At your initial visit you will see a consultant vascular surgeon with expertise in your problem. They will: •Take a detailed history. •Perform a clinical examination. •Perform appropriate bedside tests* where indicated. •Discuss the initial diagnosis, taking the time needed to fully address your queries or concerns. •Organise for you to undergo further appropriate tests for your condition when indicated. •Discuss potential treatment options and health optimisation strategies. (*these may incur additional charges)

Follow up visit

£110, 15 minute appointment. The majority of our patients require further imaging investigations following the initial visit before treatment options can be discussed. Once these investigations have been performed your surgeon will review you at a follow-up appointment.

Remote video consultation

£110, 15 minute appointment. Some of our clients prefer to arrange a video consultation due to difficulty accessing the clinic or simply for the convenience of talking to an expert from the comfort of their home or place of work. Research from around the world has shown that patient satisfaction with video consultations is high and that when clinically appropriate (such as when there is no need for a physical examination), the quality and safety of care can be maintained. A video consultation allows your surgeon to assess your symptom severity and whether or not urgent or non-urgent investigation and/or treatment is indicated. When clinically indicated, and in line with GMC guidelines, your surgeon may decide that no further face-to-face consultation is needed and they are able to safely organise investigations and/or treatment, including prescribing certain medication, remotely. For those with a complex condition, or where there is a need to perform an examination prior to organising investigations or treatments, your surgeon may recommend a face-to-face meeting at a convenient clinic location and time. At your initial video consultation you will join a video consultation with a consultant vascular surgeon with expertise in your problem. They will: •Take a detailed history of your complaint. •They may ask you to send images of your affected area so they can better assess the condition. •Discuss the initial diagnosis taking the time needed to fully address your queries or concerns. •Organise for you to undergo further appropriate tests for your condition when indicated e.g. ultrasound scan*, CT scan* •Discuss potential treatment options and health optimisation strategies. Our video conferencing platform is secure and encrypted. (*these incur additional charges)

Investigation/test costs

Investigations arranged by your surgeon are charged by the hospital in which the investigation is performed and payment is directly to that hospital. Please contact the hospital you are due to attend for further information.

Treatment costs

These vary according to treatments. At Circulation Clinic we recognise that each of our clients have very different requirements according to their presenting vascular condition. This is reflected in our treatment pricing structure with individualised care plans created reflecting the complexity of the vascular condition and treatment pathway. We pride ourselves on fair and transparent pricing that reflects the expertise of your Circulation Clinic surgeon.
